Romanian Car Hire grants a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use this website only as expressly permitted in this Agreement. Except for this limited license, no other rights or licenses are granted. The content and information on this website (including, without limitation, prices and availability of travel products), as well as the infrastructure used to provide such content and information, are the property of Romanian Car Hire or its suppliers. Accordingly, as a condition of using this website, you agree not to use this website or its content or information for any commercial or non-personal purpose, or for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited by this Agreement. While you may make limited copies of your travel itinerary (and related documents) purchased through this website, you agree not to modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works, transfer, sell, or re-sell any information, software, products, or services obtained through this website.

You may use this website only for the purpose of making legitimate reservations, purchasing, or requesting offers for products or services offered (each referred to as a 'Request'), and you are prohibited from using this website to make speculative, false, or fraudulent Requests. You represent that you are of legal age to create binding legal obligations for any liability incurred as a result of your use of this website. Romanian Car Hire IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURES CAUSED BY SERVER ERRORS, MISDIRECTED TRANSMISSIONS, INTERNET CONNECTION ISSUES, INTERRUPTIONS IN TRANSMISSION OR RECEIPT OF AN ORDER, COMPUTER VIRUSES, OR OTHER TECHNICAL DEFECTS OF ANY KIND.

You agree to defend and indemnify Romanian Car Hire, its affiliates, and/or their respective suppliers and any of their officers, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties, or other costs or expenses of any kind, including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought (i) by you or on your behalf beyond your liability described above, to the extent permitted by law; or (ii) by third parties as a result of: a) your breach of this agreement, b) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, or c) your use of this website in violation of the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Romanian Car Hire reserves the right, at its discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the provision of this website and/or any portion thereof, including any service or product available, and/or the user profile, password, or right to use this website, at any time, without reason or notice. In case of termination, you will remain bound by the obligations set forth in this agreement and any additional terms, including warranties made, limitations, and disclaimers of liability. Additionally, Romanian Car Hire will not be liable to you or any third party for termination or suspension of access to this website.

We strive to publish and maintain accurate prices and information for the services offered. Our suppliers provide us with prices and information about these services. However, if a service is listed or provided at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical errors or other errors in the information received from suppliers, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any request placed for that service. We also reserve the right to cancel such a request even if it has been confirmed and/or advance payments have been collected. If advances have already been collected for the requested services and the request is canceled due to incorrect information from suppliers, we will refund the collected advance.

To the extent that we need to contact you, you agree that we may do so by any electronic means, including but not limited to communications posted on this site or by email.

Vehicle rentals available through this site are subject to the standard rental agreements of the car rental companies, which you will complete when picking up a vehicle.

In connection with facilitating car rental transactions, we will provide you with a breakdown of fees, taxes, etc. that may apply to the transaction. We will not charge you for these taxes or fees, but the supplier will charge you at the time you pick up the car.

When you rent the car, the rental company will provide you with the local rental agreement and terms. If you do not accept the supplier's terms, no refund of advance payments made for the rental will be possible.

All confirmed car rental bookings may be paid online through our payment processor TwisPay (xMoney or any other processor chosen by Romanian Car Hire), using any debit or credit card. Unfortunately, only car rental services can be paid online; the security deposit (if required for the reserved vehicle) must be paid in cash or via transfer (e.g., Revolut), as in more than 98% of cases, the deposit is refunded in the same amount as initially paid.

After a booking has been paid, it can be modified or canceled. If the amount to be paid after modification is less than the amount already paid, the website will automatically refund the excess amount collected. If the booking is canceled during the non-refundable period, a penalty will be automatically withheld, and the difference will be refunded. All online payments are made in RON using the exchange rate provided by the National Bank and rounded up to the nearest ten.

Car rental companies reserve the right to refuse rental to any person deemed unsuitable to drive or not meeting the necessary eligibility requirements. We will not be liable for any unfulfilled travel arrangements or any refunds, compensation, or other costs you, the renter, may incur in such cases.

The headings in this agreement are for convenience only and do not in any way limit or define the terms and provisions of this agreement.

This agreement, and related parts regarding each service, constitute the entire agreement between you and each party covered with respect to your use of this site and supersede any previous statements, representations, or versions of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify or add new provisions to this agreement from time to time by simply posting them here. Continued use of this site will be in accordance with the terms and conditions in effect at the time of use. Certain provisions of this agreement may be replaced by legal provisions or conditions available elsewhere on this site, which will be duly brought to your attention. If any provision of this agreement becomes unenforceable or void, such provision will nevertheless be applied to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and such decision will not affect the validity and enforceability of any other provisions. To the extent permitted by law, Romanian law governs this agreement, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court located in Iași, Romania, in all matters and disputes arising from your use of this site and this agreement. To the extent permitted by law, any claim or cause of action arising from or related to your use of this site and/or this agreement must be filed within a maximum of 2 (two) years from the date it arose.
